I’m a software engineer from the UK

I like to write about things that I’m learning because it helps me to get concepts straight in my head. The act of writing forces me to question whether I fully understand something that I have learned. If I don’t understand the subject sufficiently then I struggle to write anything meaningful or valuable. That struggle is the signal that I need to revisit the subject matter.

My writing used to be in the form of notes that I never intended to show anybody else. But recently it occurred to me that I could publish my notes and other people might find some value in them.

And so the blog was born.
